Hi there,
When sending an invoice via e-mail from the system, do we need to add the URL to the invoice to the email?
I sent an invoice to a client and cc’d me in and - at least in my e-mail - I see that the URL is not added to the e-mail by default.
If somebody can confirm this so I don’t end up pasting URLs and confusing clients with 2 links that will be great.
Thanks!
Jose

Hi Joe,
You don’t need to manually add this link, there should be a token on your email that will ensure this gets populated.
@DirectInvoiceLink @
Usage:
Is that token on your email template? I’ve known users in the past to delete this, but it is needed in order to generate the direct link.

Hi Glen!
I must have deleted the token when I first played around with this (3 or 4 years ago!)
Got it from here - many thanks and have a good weekend!

Hi Glen,
I take it there should be a similar token in the estimate template:
Would that token be: @DirectEstimateLink @ ?

Jose
Hi @josegonzalezltd
Under the text box in your screenshot, you have a drop down menu and a button “Insert Token”. This will list all of the possible tokens you can include in your email.
But you’re quite right - it is @DirectEstimateLink@
