I have a monthly standing order from one business bank account to another. How to I set this up in Quickfile as a recurring payment. Surely I don’t have to input it manually each month?

Thank you, but as far as I can tell, this only sets up automated tagging. I want a new transfer to be entered automatically every month to save me having to enter it manually. (My bank account is not connected to Quickfile)

It would be a manual process if you do not have a bank feed or if you do not import bank statements

You could use zapier for this but it is quite an effort for just one entry per month.
If you want to go this way connect your Google or Microsoft calendar to zapier. Enter the recurring date in your calendar (the date on which the transfer should appear in your bank account). Also connect your quickfile account to zapier and select enter bank account entry.
If done, create a auto tagging rule in quickfile which tags that transaction to the corresponding bank account in quickfile.
