Setting up memorable word on Barclays Bank Feed

Hi, do you know where I can set up my memorable word on Barclays for the bank feed. I have followed the ‘how to’ by QuickFile but my Barclays screen does not have the account options it says it should have. The how to guide looks like an old Barclays Screen.

I am having trouble importing my bank transactions, i works fine for anything less than 2 months but anything over and its telling me that the export is not successful. All of the login details are correct except for the missing memorable word which i have no idea what this is. I am assuming that this is why it won’t export anything over 2 months (i am logged in to the account when trying to do this I know it won’t without logging in)

I would like to set up the auto feed but without the memorable word i am stuck

Thank you so much QFSupport I think i have managed to set up the bank feed now for daily updates. I am still having trouble exporting the months between august and now on the barclays bank feed even with the memorable word updated. All details are correct so I am wondering if there is another reason. It imported everything from less than 2 months ago yesterday with no problems but trying to go back any further and it says

The feed won’t go back and import old transactions, only ones since it was set up. So, if I set it up on 1st December, it would run from then until it fails or the account is inactive for 2 months. If either of those happen, when it restarts, it normally picks up from where it left off.

before setting up the automatic feed I have been using the one where you have to put the date in and ask it to import

its this method that i am trying to import further back from. It does say it won’t do anything more than 2 months back without logging in to the bank so i log into the account and it creates the list from Barclays but can’t import it. Does this mean that I can’t get these transactions at all. There is just a period between July and November that did not get imported (time flies)

This error means your authentication key or account number is not as it should be. So nothing to do with the import dates.

Check the two values here, they need to exactly match the details on your QF account.

The feed just works on top of Barclays so it will go back as far as Barclays allows you to for CSV exports.

finally i have got there, thanks for your help I had previously checked all of those but it looks like one defaulted back to something else.
