Setting up recurring invoices

I want to send the same invoice for the same amount to each customer on 1 January each year. Is there a way to create an invoice and then select a group/all of the customers to send it to.

If not, is the best way to create it as a recurring invoice for each customer ?

Reoccurring invoice for each customer would be the best way.
