I wonder if you would consider an integration with Shape Payroll
They say their API is open and they are open to discussions.

I believe that one of their founders @Cheri has posted on here Payroll Module - #8 by Cheri so at least they know about Quickfile.

I’ve used them and their user interface is very good. They are free for up to three employees then from £5 per month ( £1/employee/month - min £5) after that.
