SMTP Service

Hello
I’m recieving the following message:
It looks like there was a problem reaching your SMTP service
settings have been deactivated
I find this strange as I have spoken to my mail provider and they say everything is fine there must be a problem at our end - I’ve not changed anything - its just stopped working
