Split deposit to multiple payments

Hello

I have deposited £120 cash into my bank and it shows on my bank feed. Is there a way to split it into say £60 and £60 or similar?

I do not use quickfile for my invoices, so is there just a way to mark it as a payment purely for tax as I keep track of invoices and customer details in a different application.

If you just want to split the amount you would need to delete the entry on the bank for £120 and replace it with £60 and £60. You can then tag these bank entries to any nominal code you wish using the tagging option “Something else not on the list”.

There is however a dedicated tagging option for tax payments, e.g. VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax etc.
