Steps for Landlord new to hmrc making tax digital

Hi,
I can see the Landlord dashboard but what do I need to enter to submit electronically to hmrc?
Does the digital submission replace and include everything in the normal online tax return (loan interest, professional charges, etc.) or do you have to fill in both?
I have a managing agent so don’t need to raise invoices for the tenant.
Can someone explain what all the steps are. Do I link this to my hmrc account? Which forms do I enter, etc.

The online submission is a replacement for the full self assessment.

Even if you have a managed agent the invoices are recorded on the clients (tenants) record. The agent is usually set up as a merchant account and transactions go via this account.
