Submitting digital vat return to HMRC

I have completed my first digital Vat return which has been saved, and I need to submit it to HMRC, with whom I have registered.

It does say on the HMRC website that I need to authorise the software.

How do I do that?

You will need to link your HMRC account with QuickFile. There are more details on how to do this, here: HMRC Tax Accounts - MTD Returns

You would need to roll the saved return back and re-create it using the MTD process. This will then submit it to HMRC for you.
