Switching VaT & Automatic Bank feeds

Two questions,

If we register for VaT in the financial year & enable the VaT feature - are all the existing entries unaffected?

Similarly, if I turn on automatic banks feed feature, can you confirm only the items after the enablement will be passed into the accounts and that the existing bank entries won’t be duplicated/corrupted.

Hi @dmarti32,

You will get a start date for when you became registered, you will then enter this date into QuickFile and all transactions after this date will be included.

Bank feeds will run going forward, when you initially set it up or refresh the feed you are given the option for it to look back a couple of weeks. So if you don’t do this you shouldn’t get duplicates
