In preparing last quarters VAT return I wasw advised I was not authorised to access on checking with HMRC I found our direct debit had expired so last Saturday I re instated the Direct Debit and that is shown as live on the HMRC system . Our Vat No is correct. However I cannot now prepare the return as Quickfile still tells me I am not authorised 4 days after the DD was renewed. HMRC say they can. not assist and I am now late with the submission. Any idea what i do next.

The error you’re seeing is actually returned to us by HMRC - we’re not altering this in any way.
