Tagging on excel/csv before upload

Hi,
Is it possible to tag transactions on an excel/csv sheet, some transactions require multiple tags, and then upload to QF? This will be done for historical data as thinking about setting up a QF account for a friend. I.e. I already know about tagging from bank feeds. However some of the accounts are overseas accounts and therefore I don’t think we’ll be able to link to QF.

No this is not possible.

If you have records of your historical data and it has been reported already there would not be any need to upload it.

Usually you would just start with an opening balance as of a set date or import a trial balance.
