Tagging payments in different currencies

Morning,

I have invoiced a customer in euros, they paid in euros to paypal, but the feed has downloaded the payment in sterling. How can I tag the payment against the invoice so we can send payment notification to the customer?

Hi @blueberry

Because they’re in different currencies you need to create the transaction from the invoice itself, which will allow you to record the exchange rate too.

View the invoice, click Log Payment and enter the details. This will create a pre-tagged transaction, which will now be a duplicate. Simply delete the original transaction to balance it back out.
