Team member who is also a client

I’ve just tried to add a team member who happens to also be a client. He’s never used the client area, but his email is set up against his client record.

When he tries to login he is taken to the client area, not to the main dashboard. How can we ensure he accesses the main dashboard?

You will have to use different email addresses for the two sides, e.g. if their address is gmail you could use joe.bloggs@gmail.com for the team member login and joe.bloggs+client@gmail.com for the client login (this is a feature of gmail that you can add +anything to the left of the @ and the email will still go to the same place).

Thanks. That’s actually slightly awkward for us. We’re a members’ club - members are clients because they are billed for membership fees. But the treasurer is always a member. So this issue is going to keep coming up :slightly_frowning_face:

If your club has its own domain name you could set up a treasurer@theclub.org.uk type email that you redirect to whoever is treasurer in a given year, or something along those lines.
