TermsDays field in Estimate

Hi,

I’m not sure what this field does when using the API to create an estimate. Obviously there is no payment required for an estimate, but does this control the time before the estimate expires? If not, does it have another role, and is there a way to set the estimate expiration time via the API?

If there is not a way to set this via the API, do estimates created there still follow the expiration rules set up in Invoice Customisation?

Finally, if an estimate is set to expire after x days, does it expire x days after the estimate is sent or x days after it is created?

Apologies for the delay in responding.

I can confirm that the “TermDays” in the API is the same as “Valid for” for estimates, after which the estimate will expire.

I’m still not sure about the following point. Do estimates expire a set time after the send date or the generation date?

Apologies @Adam_Johnston - I missed that part!

It expires x days after the issue date. If the invoice is sent at a later date, the expiry date will remain based on the issue date.
