Transfer between accounts with different currencies

When it comes to bank transfers between 2 owned accounts, mapping money-in from one account to money-out on the other is easy because the amounts match.

But what if one account is GBP and the other is EUR? How should I go about that?

I haven’t tried to do this yet and am looking for guidance before I mess things up.
