I’ve been using Bokio software for many years and would like to transfer all my invoices and previously closed years to QuickFile. I’m a sole trader.
What’s the quickest way to do this?

Generally you would start by entering opening balances as of a set date (rather than transferring all previously closed years).
You can also import your invoices in CSV format once you export them from your old software.

I am self-employed - what’s important for me is to start with the right invoice number and the right entry. No need to insert opening balances.

If you manually set the number on an invoice when you first create it, QuickFile will continue the automatic sequential numbering starting from that point. But this has to be an invoice you create by hand through the “new invoice” form, if you let QuickFile create it for you (e.g. by tagging a transaction as “payment from a customer”) then edit that existing invoice to change the number, that edit won’t affect the sequence generator. Only setting the number at invoice creation time will change the auto numbering.
