Hi, I am not sure how detaching client account works. If I detach the account will my client remain the access to the account and can invite new accountant to have an access? Will QF stop billing us after we detach the client but instead of it start billing the client and if yes how much? Can we transfer the client account directly to the new accountant instead of to the client and if yes what is the process?
Hello @Iwona1

It all depends on on what you have set up in the clients Team Management
-
If you leave the Affinity account as the Admin: The account will not be accessible.
-
If you have the clients username set as the admin and they are a L or XL account without a subscription: The user will be able to log in an purchase a Power user subscription (£60+vat/year) to continue using the account.
-
If you have the clients username set as the admin and they are a XS,S or M account without a subscription. The user will be able to log and continue using the account.

All charges to you will stop relating to the client once they are detached

We can unlink and re link QuickFile accounts to Affinity accounts if required and have permission from all parties (we usually avoid doing this where possible and prefer the client to initiate activations as they have account ownership).
Thank you. The client wants me now to “download the data” from their account for new accounant for new accoutant “data access continuation”. Can you guide me on how to download the client data for that purpose please?
Hello @Iwona1
You can take a backup of the data
This gives you a collection of csv files containing the data from each ledger.
