Hi,

Is anyone aware of any Travel Agents that are using quickfile? I want to try to use it for a small travel agency. One of their requirements is profit reporting per Sales invoice. Is that possible in Quickfile? Can purchase invoices be linked to one sales invoice to work out the profit?

Hello Raj

Unfortunately you can not directly link a sales invoice to a purchase invoice.

You can however, use project tags to get profitability.

For example

Sales invoice for ÂŁ100 tagged to Project 1 (which could be a booking reference in your case)
Purchase Invoice for ÂŁ50 tagged to Project 1

Got to Reports > Projects

Thank you for the reply Steve.

So, in our case each Sales Invoice will be a “Project” (booking reference).

We could generate over 2000 invoices annually. Will that be an issue?

Hello Raj

There is no limit to the number of Project References you can specify so shouldn’t cause an issue.

Just to clarify, There’s no limit to the number of project tags on the account, but you can only have 5 on an invoice/estimate.
