Troubleshoot Starling bank feed

Hi, I started using QuickFile recently and set up the Starling bank feed for a free trial which all worked great. Then the trial ended so I paid £15 to get a bank feed for a year and I set it up, including manually uploading all the transactions between the date the trial ended and the date I paid the subscription. That was about 2 weeks ago and I’ve logged back in only to discover the feed isn’t working. I’m trying to set up the feed again but the setup process fails half way through. I successfully receive the notification on my Starling app that Quickfile wants to set up a connection, and the app asks me to scan the QR code on the Quickfile web page but no QR code ever appears - the page never seems to be informed that I’ve opened the notification on the app, so it’s waiting for that confirmation and doesn’t show the QR code. Super frustrating as every time the feed doesn’t work, I have to have to manually export and import the missing transactions from Starling. Can anyone help? Quickbooks was pricey but it did work!

Hi @OldQBUser

Sorry to hear you’re having issues with the QR code for the Starling feed.

The QR code is actually generated by Starling (as it’s on their website), so it’s not something we control unfortunately.

It would be worth raising this with them directly, as I would expect the QR to show as soon as you’ve actioned the previous step in the app.
