Not a software bug per se but I am unsure where else to post this.
The tooltip on account 7001 states ‘Gross directors salaries paid through PAYE’. I believe that this should state NET salary.
If i tag a payment as salary (not a director) from my bank account then it goes to 7003 - NET Staff Salaries Paid.
If I tick the ‘director’ box it goes to this account - 7001.
Given both accounts need to be ‘Grossed up’ for PAYE etc (as outlined here: How do I enter payroll / PAYE journals and entries), it would seem that this tooltip is incorrect.
