Hi my bank the Coop Bank is currently not an open banking member. Previously I had an automated feed via the Yodlee facility. Has this been been discontinued? This option no longer appears when I click the “More Options” tab on the Accounts Statement page.

Yes. Due to legislation that came into force recently it is no longer permitted to use Yodlee style feeds where you have to give your actual unrestricted login credentials to a third party for them to impersonate you on your own internet banking. Open Banking feeds work differently, you authenticate directly with the bank and they give QuickFile a limited “token” that can only be used to read transactions, not initiate payments or do any of the other things that someone who knows your login details could do.
