Unlock the period

I mistakenly made the year end entries and I have to correct some entries and accounts. How can I unlock the last period. I tried to follow instructions and locked until a previous period but it wouldnt work.
I need to file my accounts today, so it is urgent.

You can do the following

• Reports > Journals and delete the year end journal.
• Account Settings > All Settings > Account lock date and move it back a year.
• Enter your amendments.
• Run the year end again.

you mean delete all “year end journal” entries of the last year?

View the journal adn click Delete this journal at the bottom of the screen.
