help required please,
I forgot to add my stock count before I done my year end, now it wont unlock because of the lock date, can someone please advise how to change it
How much is closing stock?
Been trying to do this for ages, only have the quick count here at the mo, but it should be around £4k of stock

Yes that’s what i`ve been trying to do, but I just keep getting this message:
we were unable to remove all the locks on your account as there is a year end journal for 05/04/2014. Instead we moved the lock to the last year-end journal date, the corresponding journal can now be deleted or modified. If you decide to delete this journal you will then be able to move the lock further back
Print year end journals, then delete it and remove lock date
if I delete year end journal will that literally delete everything I have entered, ie all purchases and sales made?
No just journals , you can re enter those journals with additional journal of stock, once done lock the accounts

I managed to unlock my previous year end and have now added my stock take results and done a new Year end
Should it now show the old closing stock as opening stock in this years accounts?
