Unpaid invoices, corporation tax, distributable profit

So I just want to double-check here… an unpaid invoice counts as an asset. (Uninvoiced work can also be used as “profit” according to this:


but for me that seems a step too far).

So to work out what dividends I can pay I take the “Profit Before Tax” for the year (which includes unpaid invoices as above) and deduct 20% - and that is basically the distributable profit. Yes?
