Upload statement bug

This happened after your servers went down at sometime between 1600-1700? It might be relevant. Or at least I couldn’t get a response from QF.

I had created my own template to upload a CaponTap statement which needs the transaction amount column to be changed from positive to negative with the use of columns 2, 7, 4. Unfortunately I had 2 other templates stored (3 in total) which I decided to delete first.

When I tried to load the remaining template, I got an error message saying my mapping was incorrect and 14 transactions had been created - I found the CaponTap account had 6 transactions (correct amount of transactions) posted to the wrong side.

I deleted the transactions, deleted the template and reuploaded my csv file. I got a repeat of the error message but now my 6 transactions are posted to the correct side of the CaponTap account.

As far as i can see, my accounting records/system seems to be okay. One more point, I wasn’t asked to save a new template. Has that facility been withdrawn?

Help please!

TIA

Hi @pvmmvp54

Please accept our apologies for any issues experienced. We are currently seeing issues with an external provider which we’re continuing to monitor.

The custom template feature has not been withdrawn and everything should work as expected once the issues have been resolved.
