? every file this happens why the error message is ambiguous to me

It relates to the columns in the file not matching what we’re expecting.

The best thing to use is the “Other” option as this allows you to do it manually and map the columns yourself.

Did you map all the columns (money in/money out, if you have both), date and description?

only 3 option date description and money out, mapped them all 3

The error mentions the transaction amount being wrongly mapped. This would suggest that the amount may be in the wrong format or have some additional characters in that column.

If you are still unable to get this to work then please send a copy of the file to @QFSupport so that we can take a look at it
