Does anyone know if it is possible to upload your own letterheaded paper to use as an invoice template as none of the ones available are really suited to our company.

If you’re printing onto headed paper, you can edit the existing template to make it fit (e.g. edit the margins, move things around etc.).
When you’re previewing an invoice, click the little green box in the top left:
This will bring up the option to customise a template and change it to how you wish
