VAT Liability [Credit]

Hi,

I made a payment to HMRC when declaring customs for imported goods. When tagging this transaction, I selected the option for payment to HMRC, and I can see this transaction appear in my VAT summary. However, it doesn’t show up in my VAT return form. Could you please advise on how I can claim this back when submitting my new VAT return?

Have you raised an invoice for the imported goods?

  • Once you do this will show on the vat return
  • Once submitted a value will show on the vat liability
  • Once you log and tag your payment the liability is cleared.
