Quickfile did the VAT return - and I paid from the bank, but there was a small charge for using the card. Therefore my VAT account shows that as a credit - as it thinks I overpaid. How do I show this?
I don’t know the answer to your question but have you thought about paying your vat by direct debit ? There are no extra charges and you get an extra 5 days to pay. You should just be able to log in to your HMRC vat account and set up the direct debit online
yes - but it got rejected as I forgot to transfer the cash over to cover it. I think i’ve accounted for it properly now.
