Vat report server error

I keep getting this error when trying to create a vat report

HMRC returned a server error, this usually occurs when their service is temporarily down for maintenance

Can I just check at what stage you’re seeing this please? Is this when you select a VAT period, or is it before then?

When I click on create new VAT return

I am also getting this error message - however when I check on the HMRC website it is saying the system is fully operational

Whatever has happened it is now working again.
