I’m about to submit my first VAT return (cash accounting) up to 30 April. The total showing on the return as input tax shows the correct amount and agrees with the purchase VAT control account so not an accounting issue. In the grand scale of things this is trivial I know as the return itself is correct but annoyingly when I click the magnifying glass to view the purchases included it is missing the latest paid purchase dated 29 April, paid on 29 April. Just wondering why!
