VAT Return Period

Hello,

My VAT Return Period is set both on Quickfile and on HMRC to Quarterly March, Jun, Sep, Dec.
However, When I look at my Key Filing Dates, they all seem to show a month off?

28/02/2015 VAT Return period end date
31/05/2015 VAT Return period end date
31/08/2015 VAT Return period end date
30/11/2015 VAT Return period end date

Is there a reason for this, or do I need to amend my settings somewhere else?

Hi Thierry,

Your VAT Return Period on Quickfile and HMRC shows the month that the quarter starts from i.e. March covers the quarterly period of March, April and May. That is why you have the corresponding VAT Return period end date of 31/05/15 i.e. the last day of that period.
