Vat submission error messages on 7 December. I have again rolled back and tried to submit return today. At first received error message, then received duplicate submission message (twice). Your site says do nothing more but the submission does not appear on the HMRC site. What should I do? Chat on HMRC does not have an answer and I cannot find an email address for QuickFile even though you suggest I should contact you for help.

The DUPLICATE_SUBMISSION message you are receiving is returned from HMRC which implies they have a submission for that period.
Under MTD rules you can not make a second submission for a specific period.
Other customers have told us they they have contacted HMRC and they have been received and the tax account will be updated in a few days.
I would reccomend contacting HMRC directly to get confirmation.
I have tried again and received the duplicate submission error. I have checked the HMRC site and there is no return for this period there. The chat bot does not give an answer. There does not seem to be any way of resolving this. Did you resolve it after the problems on 7 December (which was when I first tried to send a return)? What was the resolution if any?
