If the error message shows as an authentication error, it’s likely to be down to the username or password. If it worked last time and it hasn’t been updated on your account, have any of your details with HMRC changed recently?
Hi…you have fixed the problem. Strangely, I could log into my VAT portal with the failed settings. I decided to set up a new password and the problem was fixed.
