I am trying to connect to the open banking feed for my Virgin M Business current account but QF does not recognise the login details (I am able to log in to my Virgin account outside QF). It is asking for a 7 or 10 digit customer ID whereas my account has a different format ID.
Does QF recognise this type of account? I have searched earlier posts and it is not clear. Virgin Money is listed in the open banking feeds list. I am currently trialling the bank feed but don’t want to pay for this feature if QF doesn’t support this account.
Hi, many thanks for such a quick reply. I’ve tried the merged legacy options as my sort code begins 82. This option rejects the customer id I use successfully to access the account outside QF.
I also tried the legacy option. I can get to the ‘current account’ (right hand image in your reply) but it then asks for a customer ID which is incompatible with my Virgin Money ID. (It also redirects to a Yorkshie or Clydesdale bank TPPs app which I don’t have access to).
Which of the 2 login screens do you normally see when you log in to your online banking?
Both screens are Virgin Money login screens, if they are not recognising your login details you may need to contact Virgin Money regarding this issue as we have no control over the logins to Virgin Money.
I don’t see either of those screens when I login normally. I only see the screenshots you have shared when I go through the QF link to open banking with Virgin Money…
I have included an uploaded screenshot of the page I see when I access via the laptop or mobile. After this screen I simply input the password and the account loads. I have contacted Virgin and there is no customer id for this account that has the format requested on the Virgin screens as provided by QF.
The Virgin helpline has confirmed that the Virgin M Money plus account is open banking enabled. Perhaps I cannot link the account because it operates via a mobile app? I can use it on a regular pc via the web but login has to be authenticated via the app.
