Virtual Assistant how to account for them

Hi I started using a virtual assistant to handle some extra tasks like booking jobs, replying to queries etc. Where in QuickFile would I account for their invoices as it’s only labour.

The support team are not registered accountants. I would reccomend speaking to your accountant on this to get professional guidance.

I will leave the thread open for now as there are some accountants on the forum who may wish to comment.

I’m not an accountant but just allocate them to some appropriate nominal expense account such as “Administrative Support”.

Unrelated to QF what service do you use for the Virtual Assistant?

Hi with hindsight the virtual assistant is more just a self employed office administrator, dealing with answering phones, logging support tickets, replying to customers, digital filing.

I have put the invoices down as a sub contractor in quickfile so far but not sure if that’s the best place.
