Wages

HI , I wonder if you can help. We pay nett wages both through the bank so tagged that account and through petty cash so tagged in petty cash. When looking for the wages nothing appears in the profit and loss report is that as it should be?
When I look at the wages journal I see this

As you can see when I first started getting used to quickfile I must have done something that put it in a journal. I may have raised an invoice or something. But as you can see I now just get Salary payment and no credit and debit. Have I got this right?

Is your option “Post Net Wages to Balance Sheet only” on under Account setting>All settings> Advance feature tab, if yes that is why it is going to balance sheet.

Ideally you should be doing payroll journals and tagging net wages should as above
