Hi I have seen a few old topic posts about this but I wanted some clarification.
I stopped using my quickfile account in April 17 for new transactions but still require access to my accounts to complete my tax return YE april 17 due in January 18
Will I need to continue paying the subscription to have access to complete my tax return?
Will I then need to continue paying after that to keep the records?
How can I backup so all the invoice photos are linked to the transacitons?
It depends. If the account is unused, the rolling ledger count is likely to decrease. If it drops below 1,000 in a rolling 12 month period, then no subscription is required. But we work with account holders on a case-by-case basis in terms of access where a subscription is still required.
Same as above. If it’s in the free tier, then no need to renew. Because the nominal ledger count is based on the previous 12 months, it will slowly start to decrease based on when you’ve input the data. I can certainly check this for you if you wish - just send me the details in a private message (click my name and click ‘Message’).
There isn’t a way to download a list of files that match up with invoices. You can download both individually (a back up of the photos and files, and a backup of your data), but not together. Although, you’re welcome to start a feature request thread for this if you wish.
