Wise.com bank feed

Hi,
I have been trying to link the bank feed from Wise.com but to no avail

The account was found and linked to QF but I could not synchronise. So I deleted the QF feed, and ever since I get the error message saying that there is " No qualifying GBP accounts found." every time I try to add it again. Not sure what to do?

Thanks

Hello @Pivic

Within you QuickFile banking screen have you got a wise account listed to map the feed to?.

  • Within QuickFile, view the GBP account you are wanting to connect.
  • Click settings.
  • Select “Wise” as the bank name.
  • Save.

Hi, Thank you for your help!
This “TransferWise” account was working. I think it stopped when they changed the name to Wise.com, and I can’t change the Bank to Wise on this one.
I created a new bank account on QF and selected Wise as the bank.

Doing this, I realised that I don’t actually have a “bank account” on Wise. I use Wise to pay suppliers in different currencies sending “single payments”. I get a Wise account to send my GBP to, and then it gets converted to USD, EUR or AUD.
Do you know if it is still possible to feed the conversion information to QF? I tried to enter the bank account Wise gives me to transfer my GBP to, but it doesn’t find any transfers.

Thanks!

Hello @Pivic

Where setting up the a feed, all that is required is a corresponding bank in QuickFile (with the correct currency and bank name).

Looking at your screenshot, I would suggest setting up 2 QuickFile bank accounts 1 for GBP and one for USD, be sure to set the bank name as “Wise” for both

Hello @QFSteve
Thank you for your help but I still can’t see any transactions. I’ll keep looking.

Hi @Pivic

Just wanted to jump in on this one.

If it’s just sending funds in different currency without sitting in a Wise bank account, these won’t be pulled in unfortunately.

Hi @QFMathew ,

Thank you for clearing that up, it makes sense now why I can’t see the transactions.
