Wise.com multicurrency Open Banking feeds

I know from a previous forum thread that Quickfile supports multiple Open Banking connections to current accounts the same bank, however I am struggling with Wise.com

  1. My business has GBP and EUR current accounts. I can get Wise.com to connect to one account, but when I try to connect the other, it disconnects the first account, so it appears that Wise.com may restrict the number of concurrent Open Banking feeds. Is this the case?
  2. For the Wise.com account that I have connected, transactions posted within the last 21 days (the cut-off for past transactions via live banking feed) are not displaying despite multiple manual refresh attempts.

Any assistance here will be very much appreciated.

Best wishes

Hi @barneystevenson

For any bank, you would need to approve all bank accounts at the same time. So on the screen where you grant access, please make sure all the accounts you want to connect as selected.

If you’re only seeing one account, or missing some accounts you believe should be there, it may be worth speaking to Wise as they control that part of the linking process.

Can I check if these are actually transactions on the bank account, or just sending money (e.g. from GBP to EUR)?

Hi @QFMathew

Thank you for your great response.

I have now configured both accounts at the same time by going to [our-subdomain].quickfile.co.uk/openbanking

My error was to attempt to configure each current account individually from [our-subdomain].quickfile.co.uk/bank. This ambiguity could perhaps be picked up by your team as a usability issue?

I note that you have posted a live issue with wise.com feeds just now, but the current status of each account is as follows:

  • GBP account is synchronised, shows a balance and recent transactions
  • EUR account appears to synchronise, but show no balance and no recent transactions

The missing transactions on the EUR account were payments made in EUR and converted to GBP, such as the recent payment to Quickfile for our bank feed subscription.

Hello @barneystevenson

Due to the outstanding issue with Wise at present, everything is a little up in the air. They (Wise) released a new version of their open banking feed which our development team are analysing to see what changes we need to implement on our side.

I will update the thread on the forum as well as the status page when I know more.

Apologies for any inconvienence.

Hi @QFSteve

Please will you update me on the latest news about the changes Wise.com have made to their Open Banking feeds and whether we are back in action?

The thread for my original request for help was auto-closed.

Best wishes

@QFSteve Do you have a timescale for resolution, please? My organisation is a new Quickfile user and we are keen to get on with implementing our accounting on your platform.

The development team are working on a fix for this and are testing it today so should not be to much longer.
