I just created a EUR prepayment to a supplier paid from a GBP bank account, but I notice that the event log at the bottom (of both the main dashboard and that supplier’s page) says:
A credit of EUR 780.36 was allocated to the account of Some Supplier
The actual credit in EUR was 868.70, the 780.36 number in the message matches the GBP amount that left the bank account.
