Xe.com historical rates are different then those in quickfile

Hi, I’ve noticed that the rates published in xe.com’s Historical Rate Tables are different then those suggested by quickfile. E.g. for the date 20.07.2016 1 GBP = 5.2063777967 PLN according to xe.com and 1 GBP = 5.2148 PLN according to quickfile’s suggestion (though it’s sourced from xe.com). Where does the difference come from?

We take a spot rate from xe.com for the day in the early hours (around 3:00 am GMT), this may not be the same as the daily average which is what xe.com will calculate at the close of each day, however it shouldn’t be wildly different.
