So I just noticed a journal I posted at year end 2022 is wrong, but I have run the annual closing already a few months ago. Is there a way to reverse this? and then fix the journal and then re-run the year end process again? I assume no?
Th error journal is messing up the numbers in one of my GL accounts.
You can delete the year end journal from Reports > Journals and remove the lock date from Account Settings > All Settings > Account Lock Date to allow postings into the previous year.
When you are ready you can go to Account Settings > All Settings > Year end process to re run the year end (which will in turn recreate the year end journal),
