Hello,
The system is automatically providing me with the fiscal year from 26 April 2016 till 30 Sep 2016 and I believe that thereafter it will give me the opportunity to close the following period from 1 Oct 2016 to 30 Sep 2017.
However I only need to report a larger fiscal year from company creation (26 April 2016) to 30 Sep 2017 and I cannot force this abnormal fiscal year duration in the system.
Any idea how to fix this issue?

You can generate P&L based on date range instead of predefined date range. Balance sheet is at one particular date anyway
Thanks! Does it mean I don’t need to perform any end-of-year closure bookings year after year and I can just use the the data range functionality when I need to file the accounts to HMRC? We are talking about filing online micro-entity accounts…
Its good idea to do year end routine for balance sheet date for accounts filed to hmrc
