Yodlee - connecting Bank of Scotland

Documentation shows this plugin supports bank of Scotland however after purchasing there’s no option to setup bank of Scotland. Please either refund or advise how to do this.
Thank you.

Hi @EYabsley,

We display a list of popular banks when you first open Yodlee, but Bank of Scotland isn’t listed there. You can however, do a search for Bank of Scotland which will allow you to link these up.

For reference:

Royal Bank of Scotland of not the same as bank of Scotland which was listed on the supported banks list.

@EYabsley - You can do a search for “Bank of Scotland” with Yodlee to find it. Please see my screenshot above.

I hope this helps.

Having now located the Bank of scotland feed setup appears impossible. I use the Corporate Online service, apparently a selectable option, but the config meta data required does not map to the authentication information and method I use which is a USB Card reader - apparently the latest “secure” authentication method to BOS Corp Online services.

Can you advise please?

Thank you.

Hi @EYabsley

I don’t have access to a Bank of Scotland account to try this, but I’ll try and help resolve this, otherwise I’ll have to refer it to Yodlee.

Have you tried this with any other Bank of Scotland option from the list, such as “Bank of Scotland Corporate Banking”?

Yes I’ve been through all of the options each asks for authentication information that I don’t have because I connect to the BOS system with a USB card reader

I’m not sure how the USB card reader works I’m afraid. Does it give you a one time code that you need to enter when logging in, or does it just “work it’s magic” when you log in on their website?

If it’s the latter, then I don’t believe Yodlee will support this because of the nature of the security. But if you’re happy to give me some details on the flow of you logging in, then I’m happy to raise this with Yodlee directly to see if they can advise on how to achieve this?
