Yodlee - what does it mean by "refresh from date"?

when yodel says refresh from does it mean back in time from the date entered or forward from the date entered ?

Yodlee will attempt to pull data in from the date your enter, up to today (providing the bank allows it).

For example, if you enter a date 1 year ago, but your bank only shows 3 months of transactions, you will only receive 3 months of data. If it’s available on your online banking account, it should be available through Yodlee.
