Allow assigning view-only permissions to users.
It is crucial to be able to give users access that permits them to view the individual areas of the system but does not allow them to modify any information.
This is a key feature when dealing with an audit, but also for instance when contracting an external company to prepare annual accounts. Basically, having such access level is key whenever dealing with external entities that, for whatever reason, need to view the accounts.
The current system does not allow view-only access. Ideally, any access level should have two types: view and view/modify.
It should not be too difficult from the IT point of view to implement a new user type that has no database writing rights, correct?
