I know this will likely have been asked many times but just wondered if there was any new developments on this as an app would just make things that bit easier.
I know there’s an API that can be used to get an app developed but i have no idea how to do that or even how to get the wheels in motion plus the cost would likely be prohibitive for just 1 app.
Even if the app had a fee i’m sure it would still be widely used.
Also on the topic of apps, is it possible for Quickfile to automate with other apps (in this case Servicem8) i have it linked via zapier but that has its limitations.
QuickFile itself isn’t developing an app, but I am aware of one or two users making their own. These are independent from QuickFile so I don’t know the state of these at present.
It’s a public forum, so the users involved may come reply to you directly here too.
Regarding other apps, yes, it is possible. QuickFile offers the API (as you’re aware), as well as webhooks to notify other apps of actions. The result of this however would be down to the app on the other end (which is where Zapier is useful).
What were you looking for in terms of functionality? We’re certainly open to the idea of working with other software platforms to create a link, so you may wish to raise this with ServiceM8 too, in hope that they contact us.
Hi guys we are in the process of developing our own app that will link directly to Quickfile. With the app it will allow you to send invoices, raise estimates add clients and receipts.
