Bank feed renewal Natwest not working

I havent had any bankfeed since July and am sitting down to do a big reconcilliation session ready for the VAT return, so my hands are tied until this gets sorted… :slight_smile:

If you can download your statements into csv format then you can upload them. Unfortunately i’m unable to give a timeframe on when the issue might be fixed

Please could you confirm which bank you are trying to connect?

Hi Beth. It is with Nat West.
I have read a suggestion on “have you tried revoking and re-adding” which I did but it has not worked.

Hi Beth, I’ve lost access to select the Bankline option. Now when I click on ‘Connect a bank’ and select ‘Natwest’, it takes me straight to the online banking login. I dont use this, I use Bankline because I have multi-currency accounts with Natwest.

Apologies about this, unfortunately we have only been able to do a surface fix. Until Natwest fix the underlying issue with the authorisation server then we can only process consents via the online banking route.

We are in contact with Natwest and hopefully there will be a fix soon. There seem to be a lot of changes with Open Banking at the moment and some of them have a few teething problems.

Morning Beth, its seems the linking part if this problem has been resolved, nice and quick hey, and I have now been able to link bankfeed to our bank account HOWEVER, any ideas on how to get the last 2 months statements to show up…(I know I should probably not have left it this long but switched off from work all together until now!). Jo

you can only refresh back 14 days with the bank feed, so for the last 2 months you will need to download a statement and upload. If you need help with this then please don’t hesitate to ask :slight_smile:

If you click the button to refresh your bank feed, if its possible then you’ll be given an option to select a date from when you’d like the feed to refresh

Thanks, yes this has worked. Please can you let the powers that be know that it would be good if it went back more than 14 days. Now i know this is the case i wont let time go by again though. :slight_smile:

This is a limit set by the banks and not us i’m afraid so there isn’t anything we can do
